3.) In relation to the Alumni ID card, we are currently looking for partners that can provide us with freebies and discounts. SJCSAA has a big market base that you can count on. February 8, 2009 - Update on Judenite 82 Scholar and

                                  Turnover of Donation

Hello Batchmates!  We are pleased to advise that last February 6, 2009, we turned over to Ms. Abegail Jayne Amoranto, our Batch Scholar, the amount of P12,000.00 representing our tuition support for the Second Semester of School Year 2008-2009.  As advised previously, Ms. Amoranto is currently a Junior Nursing Student at the U.P. Manila College of Nursing (UPCN).  On a scale of 1 to 5 with the score of 1.0 being the highest, Ms. Amoranto's Grade Weighted Average (G.W.A.) for the First Semester of School Year 2008-2009 is 2.08, which is above our minimum requirement of 2.50.  Ms. Amoranto passed all of her subjects in the First Semester of School Year 2008-2009 and on the above bases, the UPCN recommended the renewal of the Judenite 82 Scholarship Grant for Ms. Amoranto for the Second Semester of School Year 2008-2009.

We have attached for your kind reference a copy of Ms. Amoranto's academic scores for the First Semester of School Year 2008-2009.  Also attached is a photo showing the turnover to Ms. Abegail Amoranto (Batch 82 Scholar) the P12,000.00 cheque representing our Second Semester 2008-2009 tuition support held last February 6, 2009 at the U.P. Manila College of Nursing (UPCN).  Witnessing the turnover is Prof. Jocelyn Acop of the UPCN.

Thank you very much.

Best regards,

Roderick Ko Pio

Batch New Year's Party Recap

December 21, 2008 - New Year's Party on January 3, 2009

Message from our Batch President Ricky Ko Pio :

Hello Batchmates!  Please let me take this opportunity to invite you once again to our New Year get-together to be held on January 3, 2009, Saturday, at 6:00 p.m., at the residence of Vice President Caroline Ng Sy at No. 6 Jade Garden Compound, Ortigas Avenue, San Juan, Metro Manila.  To accommodate our Fellow Batchmates who are holding office on January 3, 2009 and who thus may find it difficult to join an afternoon get-together, we have decided to commence our party at 6:00 p.m. instead of the 4:00 p.m. schedule as initially announced in our email dated November 7, 2008.  We will be serving a delicious dinner buffet courtesy of Vice President Caroline, Asst. Treasurer Johann Tan and Fellow Officers Maribeth Ang Wong, Teresita Sy Chingkaw and Wilfred Chua, and to spice up the New Year atmosphere, we will be having a sing-along as well as a raffling of prizes donated by your Officers.  The assessment fee for our New Year's Party will be P300.00 per person, the proceeds of which will go to our general fund.  We will be honored if you can bring along your spouse to join the merrymaking.

Thank you and see you all on January 3, 2009!  On behalf of the Judenite 82 Officers, here's wishing all of you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy, Prosperous New Year!

Best regards,

Roderick Ko Pio
