Message from our Batch President Ricky :
Hello Batchmates! I am pleased to report that last April 21, 2010, we turned over to Ms. Abegail Jayne Amoranto, our U.P. Manila College of Nursing (UPCN) Graduate Scholar, our P2,000.00 gift cheque on the occasion of UPCN's Recognition Ceremony for their graduating nursing students, Batch 2010. On a scale of 1 to 5 with the score of 1.0 being the highest, Ms. Amoranto's overall General Weighted Average (G.W.A.) during her four year nursing course is 1.92, which is above our minimum requirement of 2.50. On behalf of our Batchmates, we would like to extend our warmest congratulations to Ms. Abegail Amoranto and at the same time, our best wishes in all her future endeavors.
Please find enclosed for your kind reference a copy of Ms. Amoranto's four year academic scores as well as a photograph depicting our turnover of our P2,000.00 gift cheque to Ms. Amoranto in the presence of Prof. Lydia Manahan of the UPCN. We have also attached an updated List of our Donor Batchmates who have kindly responded to our December 21, 2009 email appeal for donations in support of our request for assistance in building up our Nursing Scholarship Fund.

Hello Batchmates! On behalf of the Batch 82 officers, I would like to extend my warmest gratitude to all of you for sharing your time and presence during our New Year’s Party last January 9, 2010 at the residence of Vice President Caroline Ng Sy. It felt good seeing all of you again and I am definitely looking forward to enjoying the pleasure of your company again in our future get-togethers. Kudos and cheers to Vice President Carol and her husband John for being such kind, able and generous hosts and also to Fellow Officers Melanie Lim and Teresita Sy Chingkaw for being such superb party organizers. Let me also take this opportunity to thank the Following Batchmates for their generous contributions to our New Year’s Party:

Hello Batchmates! It gives me great pleasure to invite all of you to attend our New Year's Party to be held on January 9, 2010, Saturday, beginning at 6:30 p.m., at the residence of Vice President Caroline Ng Sy at No. 6 Jade Garden Compound, Ortigas Avenue, San Juan,Metro Manila. Fellow Officers Teresita Sy Chingkaw and Melanie Lim are spearheading our New Year's Party, where your Officers will be hosting a very delicious dinner catered by Fellow Officer Maribeth Ang Wong. Fun is the theme of the night as we will be having a sing-along, group games and fantastic camaraderie. We will be very delighted if you can also bring along your spouse to our New Year's Party. The dinner assessment per person will be P500.00, the proceeds of which will augment our batch's general fund.

Due to numerous requests from alumni golfers who are either out of the country or participating in other club sponsored tournaments on May 8, the committee has agreed to move the Alumni Golf Classic Tournament to May 15, 2009 (Friday).
Likewise, deadline for Early Bird Registration has been moved to April 30, 2009. Register and pay before deadline and Caddie's Fee is on us.

This year's SJCS Alumni Golf Classic Tournament will be held on May 8 (Fri) at Sun Valley Golf Club in Antipolo City. We have lined up trophies, giveaways and raffle prizes for everyone. This is a great opportunity to meet your batch mates and schoolmates. You may also bring your family and friends as guests in the tournament.

Turnover of Donation
Hello Batchmates! We are pleased to advise that last February 6, 2009, we turned over to Ms. Abegail Jayne Amoranto, our Batch Scholar, the amount of P12,000.00 representing our tuition support for the Second Semester of School Year 2008-2009. As advised previously, Ms. Amoranto is currently a Junior Nursing Student at the U.P. Manila College of Nursing (UPCN). On a scale of 1 to 5 with the score of 1.0 being the highest, Ms. Amoranto's Grade Weighted Average (G.W.A.) for the First Semester of School Year 2008-2009 is 2.08, which is above our minimum requirement of 2.50. Ms. Amoranto passed all of her subjects in the First Semester of School Year 2008-2009 and on the above bases, the UPCN recommended the renewal of the Judenite 82 Scholarship Grant for Ms. Amoranto for the Second Semester of School Year 2008-2009.
We have attached for your kind reference a copy of Ms. Amoranto's academic scores for the First Semester of School Year 2008-2009. Also attached is a photo showing the turnover to Ms. Abegail Amoranto (Batch 82 Scholar) the P12,000.00 cheque representing our Second Semester 2008-2009 tuition support held last February 6, 2009 at the U.P. Please let me take this opportunity to invite you once again to our New Year get-together to be held on January 3, 2009, Saturday, at 6:00 p.m., at the residence of Vice President Caroline Ng Sy at No. 6 Jade Garden Compound, Ortigas Avenue, San Juan, Metro Manila. To accommodate our Fellow Batchmates who are holding office on January 3, 2009 and who thus may find it difficult to join an afternoon get-together, we have decided to commence our party at 6:00 p.m. instead of the 4:00 p.m. schedule as initially announced in our email dated November 7, 2008. We will be serving a delicious dinner buffet courtesy of Vice President Caroline, Asst. Treasurer Johann Tan and Fellow Officers Maribeth Ang Wong, Teresita Sy Chingkaw and Wilfred Chua, and to spice up the New Year atmosphere, we will be having a sing-along as well as a raffling of prizes donated by your Officers.
