As promised, we are confirming the venue for our post Christmas party. We are moving the date from the 30th to the 29th of Dec., Friday night at 6 pm.
It will be held at Carol Ng Sy's place at #6 Jade Garden Compound Ortigas Ave. Greenhills. Details regarding food and other entertainment will be supervised
by our very able PROs Olivia, Rodney and Tessie. We are expecting all of you to be there.

With the sudden demise of our fellow batchmate STEWART DY, a mass shall be offered by Judenites 82 6pm tomorrow Oct.12 at Chapel 14 3rd floor Funeraria Paz,
G.Araneta Ave. It shall be officiated by Fr. Linus of St. Jude. This was made possible with the help of our batchmate Evelyn Cheng Chua . Please join us in paying
our last respects to Stewart. We hope you can be there at 7:30. Interment will be held on Saturday Oct.14.

Batchmate STEWART DY passed away this morning Manila time after being in a coma from an accident yesterday. His remains now lie in state at Funeria Paz 3rd Floor, Chapel 14, G. Araneta Ave. Stewart is survived by his loving wife Debbie Dy, no children. Please take a moment to pray for him and his family. Thanks

In behalf of the officers, I would like to report to you the rousing success of the mooncake festival party held last Oct.1. As can be seen from the photos that were
posted we all had a wonderful time. It was just too bad that some of those who were supposed to attend could not because of the typhoon that hit us a few days ago.
I would just like to express our deep gratitude and heartfelt thanks to the ff. people: John Sy and Carol Ng Sy for being such gracious hosts and welcoming us into their new home, Teresita Sy Ching for taking charge of buying our prizes who inspite of the heavy rains and gutsy winds last Thursday braved all these to deliver these to Carol's place, Rowena OngSiong and Kirby Hartigan Go for being our official photographers, Olivia Lee Ang and Rodney Uyan for their efforts in reaching out to our batchmates. Hopefully, this event would be a preview of our 25th Homecoming to be held on Aug.2007.

Dear batchmates.
As you all know,we,the officers are in the process of planning for our 25th homecoming to be held on Aug.2007. This is a once in a lifetime event that deserves
our full attention,thus, we are asking for your suppost in whatever form. I hope that you our batchmates understand the need for funding. Our main thrust right now is to look around for major sponsors but we would appreciate any help we can get from you. Bear in mind that this is all voluntary. We are happy to report that as of today Oct.4, as per our treasurer Pauline's records, funds have started to pour in as witnessed by the ff.that have been deposited in our account and pledges from other sponsors:

Dear Batchmates,
For the video clip during our 25th anniversary, please send your most recent family picture to chuabio@pacific.net.ph. We would like to correct the impression that we are obliging each batchmate to give P5,000.00. We welcome your contribution in whatever amount you can afford to help cover the expenses of the party. Please help the officers solicit from big-time sponsors who will be more generous with their contribution. Please contact Katherine Ang Chuabio at chuabio@pacific.net.ph if you need a solicitation letter. Hopefully, if we can raise enough funds, we will be able to subsidize the ticket sale for the party. Please be patient with us while we finalize the venue and the date because there are still many things to be considered. We reiterate that application for tuition fee assistance for children of batch mates is still on-going until January 2007.
Again, please attend the Mooncake Festival Party on October 1, 2006. Hope to see you there!

MANILA MOONCAKE FESTIVAL PARTY - October 1, 2006 (Posted by Ms. Susan Lao)
The present batch officers of Judenites'82 are happy to announce the holding of the first ever batch mooncake festival party. This event will be held on October 1, 2006, Sunday at 3:00 pm at our batchmate Caroline Ng Sy's new residence located at No.6 Jade Garden Compound, Ortigas Avenue Greenhills, San Juan (Beside Total Gas Station, near corner Santolan). We are inviting all our batchmates to come and join us in this celebration. Afternoon merienda and prizes will be provided courtesy of the officers, which means you only have to bring yourself to this party. We hope that all of you can adjust your schedule for this event. Since we are hosting this occassion, please confirm your attendance on or before September 16,2006 so we can make ample reservations with the caterer.

HOMECOMING PLANS (posted by Katherine Chuabio on August 11, 2006)
The officers are now in the planning stage for the much awaited homecoming. Among the plans are:
1. Video clip showing our journey from prep to present. In line with this, please e-mail your latest family photo or most recent solo shot to chuabio@pacific.net.ph
2. Ballroom dance number featuring our batchmates to be choreographed by a professional dance instructor.
3. Programs coming from the children of our batchmates. Please inform Katherine Chuabio at 252-8972 if you wish your child to render a number.
*Susan Lao has promised to render a solo song number during the homecoming
4. Other programs to be rendered by professional entertainers.
5. Venue and food of the homecoming.
6. Tribute and cash gifts to some of our mentors.
7. Awarding of plaques to scholars and major sponsors.
8. Induction of new officers.
Because we want to make our homecoming next year as successful and memorable as possible, we call on our batchmates' generosity and gallantry to shoulder Some of the expenses. Please call Susan Lao at 2412190, 2420291 should you want to contribute for the homecoming party.
TUITION FEE ASSISTANCE FOR CHILDREN OF BATCH MATES (posted by Katherine Chuabio on August 11, 2006)
To date, no one in our batch has applied for tuition fee assistance for their children. We would like to remind our batchmates to go to the FILE section of our website to learn more about this matter. The Application form can also be accessed in the FILE section of our website. If you know anyone among our batch mates having financial difficulty, please inform them about this facility that we have provided and maybe they can avail of it. Please be informed that the deadline for submission of application is changed to January 31, 2007. If no one applies, then the said fund will be used to subsidize the tuition fees of selected St. Jude students for School year 2007-2008.
